The amazing Hannah from Chicklish has given Goddess of Secrets a five star review to match the five stars she awarded Goddess of Destiny. You may have spotted that Hannah is reading the trilogy backwards but it doesn’t seem to be impeding her enjoyment of the books! You can read Hannah’s review by clicking on this link:

http://keris.typepad.com/chicklet/2008/12/review-kumari-goddess-of-secrets-by-amanda-lees.html

I’d also like to pay Hannah a compliment in return – I think her reviewing style is excellent: concise, clear and personal without being too subjective. I’m not just saying that because Hannah likes Kumari (although that is one sure way to my heart!) but because I have read a number of her other reviews and enjoyed them all. I am also a great fan of her blog which you can access through the link below. Hannah – you rock!!

“A magnificent debut full of wit and humour…It’s wild, it’s whacky, it’s frightening and full of adventure. It’s an unmissable treat and the first in the Kumari trilogy.” – Lovereading4kids

“A magnificent debut full of wit and humour…It’s wild, it’s whacky, it’s frightening and full of adventure. It’s an unmissable treat and the first in the Kumari trilogy.” – Lovereading4kids

“Powerful and touching.” – Glasgow Herald

“Kumari is a great heroine – feisty and determined but also sweet-natured and loveable and entertainingly fallible. ” – Writeaway

“An original mix of fantasy and reality. Kumari is a sweet, unusual and trend-setting new character.” – Chicklish

“Everyone should love this book…magical, different and has a baby vulture in it. What more could anyone require? I loved it!” – Sue Chambers, Waterstones, Harrods
